Some notes on Hell

There is a wide misunderstanding of the concept of hell. Mans interpretation of hell in art has distorted the theological realities. The artistic endevour to recreate an eternity without God can never recreate it’s pitifulness. The hebrew is Sheol translated as “grave”, “pit”, or “abode of the dead” It is a place of stillness and darkness cut off from God.Every individual makes the choice to turn away from God, that is the nature of Gods love enstowing free will upon us. The pain and suffering of not being with God is our own doing, terrible to behold in this life for those of us who have found him but still see others wandering aimlessly but still it is a rectifiable state…unimaginably pitifull in eternal state without the guidance of the good counsel of the righteous.
